EKTA

EKTA Association was founded on 26th November, 2023 on the Constitution Day of India at Guru Ravidas Mandir, Chak Hakim, Phagwara, Punjab.

It was founded by Satvendar Madara, who is a Social Reformer based in Jalandhar, Punjab.

The main objective of EKTA is to work for the Social, Educational and Economical upliftment of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes in the Northern Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

EKTA’s main source of inspiration are the great social reformers like Jotirao Phule who is also called the Father of Indian Social Revolution. His wife and the first women teacher of India Savitribai Phule. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Chief Architect of the Constitution of India and also called as the Founding Father of Modern India.

Alongwith these great Social Revolutionaries, EKTA also takes inspiration from Saheb Kanshi Ram, who spread awareness on the Life and Mission of these great personalities and also led the Social and Political Struggle for the upliftment of these classes in Independent India.

Since its foundation on 26th November 2023, EKTA is trying to bring awareness by organising small village level meetings, through Social Media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp.

It is also publishing literature and has produced some Portraits of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Saheb Kanshi Ram. As art is also a great medium of bringing awareness alongwith literature, EKTA is using it as a medium for this cause.

EKTA is also working in bringing awareness on the various policies of Central and State governments which help the SC, ST, OBC communities in the field of Education and Economic Development.

EKTA is a Non-Political and Non-Religous Organisation and works in the Social, Educational and Economic Field only.
